On August 14th, the Her Odyssey women resumed the travel component of our endeavor. On August 9th, Canada opened their borders to vaccinated and qualified US citizens, despite the US not reciprocating. We were the first vehicle across the Piegan/Carway station and followed the Rockies north, dropping resupplies along the Great Divide Trail (GDT) which, knowing our window is short at these latitudes, we plan to hike SoBo (southbound).

Our community came through in a massive way to realize this opportunity and a bevy of kind spirited, adventure loving Canadians (shout out to TourGuide and WifeTracker!) have arisen to help with logistics. Several GDTA Board Members and volunteers, like CanaDoug, Lani, Savage, and many others have helped us realize this long awaited dream.
