Recipe: Honey Trail Balls


Honey Trail Balls (Courtesy of Catastrophe)

2/3 cup almonds
2/3 cup walnuts
2/3 cup oat bran
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup raisins/craisins/dates
1/4 cup cocoa nibs/choc chips
1/4 cup coconut flakes
1tbs cinnamon

Grind almonds, walnuts and oat bran in food processor
Add to mixer w/ honey, cinnamon; mix
Grind cocoa and raisins in processor
Add to mixer w/ coconut, mix
Roll into balls place on parchment paper covered cookie tray, refrigerate til devoured!
Voila….

For trail: ration enough to nibble at least one per trail break (3-8 per day).
